HICCUPS
Inspired strongly by noir films I was obsessed with during this time, I set out to try and complete a series that was comprised of movie-like stills. Particularly I was very invested in this idea of a hiccup - the moment something unintended happens. Whether it be a sudden car crash, stumbling across a dead body, or someone in the midst of committing a crime, hiccups are life experiences that come out of nowhere and can quickly change your life drastically. Hiccups are something that comes sneaking up on you unexpectedly, as are the sights of these scenes I have crafted.
BLUE
Further venturing down a path of photography inspired by movie stills, Blue was my opportunity to just have fun with this colour. Blue is often a colour associated with melancholy and night, this short series was a fun experience to explore this colour and the meanings it can bring out.
